ASUS p5nd motherboard Nvidia 8800 GT?

Well im thinking about buying this motherboard and Graphics card but i have a question or two. First the motherboard has VGA port. I have an older monitor that connects via the VGA so does that mean i can connect my monitor to it? It sounds like an obvious yes but i wanna make sure that the VGA port it comes with is good for monitors. Now the Nvidia 8800 GT graphics card. Will the graphics card work via VGA or no? Im sort of guessing im gonna have to buy a HDMI monitor.

    If you use the VGA off the motherboard, you will not be using the 8800GT (and it probably won’t work at all). The 8800GT comes with DVI to VGA adapters. Just use that.

    First the mother board has VGA port – False, the ASUS p5nd has no VGA port or integrated graphics. It has two PCI Express X16 Slots: (PCIe 2.0). I think you were looking at the Parallel Port.
